hello, I have a new to me 97 horizon 180rs which does not have a bimini top... I've searched these forums and I cannot find window mount bracket kit to swap out window clips mentioned in recent post, since most bimini top retailers don't recommend mounting to window, I assume this is due to the possibilty of drilling and cracking the glass... I was hoping to find a bracket to fit existing screw holes which are approx 1 inch apart.... anyways, maybe one of you has done this mod to your horizon or maybe I just need to use regular mounts to gunwhale... thanks, in advance for any suggestions any of you may have.... ty :D

I didn't find the round eye clip. I just used a regular eye end on the pole. Found a side mount bracket at a local marine store. Re-drilled into the window frame. I made sure the new holes were the same distance as the old ones and didn't have a problem with any cracking glass.
