I have a 2005 298 Vista and the screws for the supports on the extended swim platform rusted and the screw heads popped off.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a 2002 298 and noticed minor surface discoloration on the outside bolt and nut. I clean each season and spray it with a rust preventative like T-9. The head of the bolt would be on the inside (in the engine compartment). Do you have other rust within the engine area?
