I want one of these:

It's one of those things where I know I won't use it much, but when I do, I'll be real glad to have it. Also part of this new obsession is that it's not available from FW for my boat. So now all I have to do is figure out if the local canvas shop can fabricate one from the photo using my existing bimini as the base. Well that and win the lottery or something.

The thought has crossed my mind too. There have only been a couple of times we'd have used it, so I won't follow through with it, but it would've been nice at those times.

Had similar on my last boat... used it once in 5 years. Didn't even consider it on my new boat. I could have used it once already, but just a PITA to store, put up, etc.

Even on a larger boat the storage question has to be considered. While I love the camper-back canvas, it's a hassle finding the best place to store the panels. More often than not we just lay them flat on the forward berth. Granted, you'd have a few less/smaller panels. It's very nice having them up, especially overnight as a means to keep condensation from forming all over the seating.

I spent Saturday-Monday camping on my 205 Sundowner and would not have done it without my camper top. I just got the boat this year and can put up the camper in about 10 minutes. Storage is a little bit of an issue but we find the pieces go well on the storage rails in the cuddy. You would have to find somewhere suitable for the way you use your boat.

Not only will they eliminate the condensation issues, but I've stayed totally dry under mine in a total down pour. They are great to have.

If you plan on using it at all it will justify the cost. But to have one fabricated just to have one- I doubt you will be happy spending the money to just have it lying around.
