I lost one of the nylon inserts that go into the ball slide that is used several places on my V278. I have found the complete assembly but it seems like I should just be able to purchase the nylon insert that goes in the slide. I have others that are cracked so it's just a matter of time until I need another one. Anyone know where I can get just the insert?

while searching for another item I found that Taco Metals made this part, but it appears they do not sell retail, while doing further searching i found that piersupply.com sells the insert individually. i don't know anything about this company but i hope this helps, let us know how it goes.

Thank you! I had found that Taco Metals made the part but was not able to find the insert. Pier Marine had just what I needed and I ordered the part.

How much did that set you back? I was missing one when I bought my boat but just had that entire part added to an order I was getting drop shipped from FW. Part of me doesn't want to know how much I could have saved!

Well I ordered six and the total came to $7.20. Shipping was $12.94 though. Still a lot cheaper that ordering the entire part. I have several that are cracked so I'm sure I'll end up using them.
