So I got this idea and I wonder if anyone else had it. I have an f224. The bow area has good room on the sun pad. My idea is to make a nylon tent to fit the bow snaps. It would be held up by those flexible poles you use on a tent and could connect to the window top snaps. This way it could be high in the middle like a tent but have screens for air while camping. Of course you couldn't cruise with it up but I wouldn't want to. I'd have a good sleeping area without bugs and still have access to the head and cockpit.

Anyone ever see something like this? Where would I go to have something like this fabricated? Could I get it for $200?

My boat (much older than yours) has that setup from the factory. It is a VERY simple arragement but worrks well for an overnighter. Mine uses 2 poles (built in framework) and just flips up, then there is 2 small side pieces that snap in just to cover some small gaps. You cane get an visual from past four winns horizon brocures (not sure what other models had it).

I love my set up as a matter of fact my nylon is old and ripping so I contacted a tent repair company and am getting a new one made this winter. If you make one it's a good idea to place a vent up top (mine has 2 screened in ones)

Fits Yamaha AR230 boats, $314.95

Taylor Made discontinued this a few years ago.

A guy I know had one made for his 24ft Regal bowrider at a canvas shop, cost him $600.00

Thanks. That is exactly what I was looking for. $600 is too much but would make sense if it's made of canvas rather than nylon. It sounds like you are suggesting that something may already exist in a box. Now I just have to find it.
