I saw these at a show not that long ago and didn't think to get any information. (Sorry no pics)
What they are are hangers for the fenders. Not the kind that hand on a railing, but somthing that is in 2 peices, one mounting to the boat, and the other to the fender line. The line then simply snaps in place on the boat. ANy one seen these, know what I'm talking about, or know where to get them? As I'm a bit on the anal/paranoid side I thought it would be nice to have 3 fenders on the side for protection when docking or mooring.
Any ideas?

Hey Rob,

I know what you are talking about but they are pretty hard to describe. I went with some simple ones from Overton’s, which is an amazing website by the way. So I would go check their selection out to get an idea on what you might like.

IMHO, I like just the rope tied/looped through the hole on the fender, less to worry about breaking, getting dirty, and so on. I purchased their Dockmate Fender Line for the four Fenders, and will be getting them Thursday.

Hope this helps…

Is this what you are referring too?

I used these on the old boat and am debating on putting them on the new one. My only thing is I hate to add "stuff" with screws to the outside of the hull. I don't know why, but I just do.

Jury's still out.

With regards to the 3 fender question. Obviously 3 would be better than two, but I think 2 work just fine. Besides, if you had 3, that would be more to stow away.

Yep. That's the ones. Fender locks... :)
Think I'll get them. Should make my life easier...

I'd like to add some to our 348 Vista, at least to protect the aft gunwales. There's no cleat up there, nor a rail, so there's no good way to hang a fender. That's the only place on the boat that managed to get a scratch last season (two situations of bad weather and metal seawall edging at a marina...)

I found the Perko Fender Locks here locally. By luck I cought the Marina on the last day of their 50% off sale (Changing owners) and got them for $8.50 CND per pair! Will be installing them as soon as I get my boat...

I think I'd rather go with these, since they're stainless steel:
