I just ordered one of these for them '06 Funship. I was assured this is a custom fit and Overton's even agreed to take it back if it wasn't - despite this being a custom [non-returnable] order.

I sacrificed perfect color match by getting the cover from my dealer, but the FW mooring cover is $869 and with a 15% off coupon code, I was able to get this cover for under $400.

Does anyone have the Hurricane Sharkskin cover?

Yeah, I just received mine for my 200. Currently sitting in the box at the house since the boat is in the shop till Saturday.

Yeah I got the same info. They called and double checked the size and everything and then sent the info to the seller. After the call Id say it was like a week, maybe a little more. But no where close to the 2-3 weeks. But it might take longer depending on distance shipping and in-stock?

Will be putting it on this weekend after our Saturday outing, will let you know what I think if you would like.

Was wondering
We had a really good rain this weekend and when I went and checked on the boat, there was moisture on the windows of the boat. I know for a day or so it isn't a big problem, but we are entering the rainy season and we could be getting lots of rain for weeks on end.

Is there anything I should or could do to limit or stop the moisture in the boat? Or is it okay?

Oh, and I do have a couple of the moisture bags in the boat already.

I like to uncover the boat during dry weather and let it dry out and ventilate.

Mine is at the House.

I will recover determined by the weather forecast.

WE have been having a lot of rain here in North Texas!

At least the lakes are getting full

With the boat being at a storage area, 30 mins away from the house, that will be a little hard to do.

Any other ideas? What about adding a Solar Vent?

I can't seem to get a straight answer on this so let me ask you guys, do you put the morring cover over the stock canvas or not? Also if you dont have both on there what supports the morring cover like the tent poles for the regular canvas?

Architectdave, the problem with using both is moisture. If you put the canvas on, and then put a mooring cover over it, then the boat will not get enough air and you could be looking at mildew. I guess it depends on how long you'll be keeping it covered for, and how much moisture you are dealing with.

I haven't broken out my mooring cover yet, but I don't see why the poles that you use for your regular canvas wouldn't work with it. Seem to be the same concept, anyway.

I have the FW mooring cover. Yes, the poles supplied with the bow and cockpit canvas work with the mooring cover, but additional support is needed. The FW mooring cover has the typical rope running around the circumference, an one tightens it at the bow. However, I find that to avoid water pooling on the cover, I need to apply a couple bungie straps on each side to make the cover taught enough for water to roll off. There's convenient loops supplied for this purpose.

The main reason I bought the mooring cover was to avoid snapping and unsnapping all the snaps on the bow and cockpit covers. There's also the added benefit of covering more of the hull (sun/fading). I'd sure hate to have to put both on everytime!
