Jim, Would you mind getting their recommendation for the SX tabs.. Boat is Horizon 200, 4.3MPI engine (220hp). I would like to get it right first time (overseas) and have heard that plenty of people have been returning the 80 strength actuators for 60's.. Thank you. C4 |

Well, looks to me like Txjole is correct (again). There's not enough space above the planing hull to mount the actuator. Not even close. One alternative that may work are these manual tabs from Volvo. |

Bah! Nay sayers. Let's see, LEDs near every cup holder? LED tail lights? C'Mon guys, eveybody has their own pet peeve and perception of worth. Some folks actually install those smart tabs on inflatables, how could it not be worth it on a 19' boat? All depends on how bad the rub rubs as I see it. I wanted them at times. Turns out I can't have them at all - which sometimes just makes a person want them more. Thankfully this isn't the case for me, this time, I'll just demand that passengers sit here or there. Not having to do so would have been nice, for me nicer than having $125 sitting in the bank unused. |
