Jim,
The Faria part # is DS0197. I don't have much time to look for it online now, but I do have both the manual and the sales spec PDF for it, that I downloaded from Faria's site.

I'm still up in the air if I'm going this route or replacing the stock depth sounder with an identical one, if I still have an issue in the spring.

Well, Overton's is currently at $179 plus shipping, but with the $5 off every $50 deal that's not too bad. Otherwise Boater's World has it at $169.99. http://www.boatersland.com/far-13852.html

The new gauge does look pretty cool:

Here's the old one for those (like me) who have the boat in storage:

Let me know if you end up going this route. If I don't I may be willing to buy your old gauge off you.

Ok, will do - but as I have my boat in 'cold' storage until next season, I'm taking this upgrade slow.

I like that, and may retrofit in the future. My gripe with my present depth finder is the color. It's such a red at night, that the black is nearly invisible. Not good to have when you boat at night as often as I. That's supposed to be looked into soon.

I'd love to have a red depth finder. I changed all my dashboard LED's to red, and if I remember right the depth finder is either a blue or a white bulb, which I haven't figured out how to change out.

Did anyone go through and swap out their depth finder for this one that also has the water temp?
