I put the same fuse block in the Aquasport last season. I am most pleased and we have had no issues related to it. It has been great having blade style fuses.

Enjoy!

Ordering MSD coil and thinking of this cap/rotor set instead.

Alright The spare prop has been installed with the new McGuard Prop Lock. SO hopefully no more scum will be stealing my prop at the gas station.

Next I have been saving up my Cabelas gift cards and well delaying spending the money for a while. The time has come to Buy a SimRad GO7 loaded with a Navionics+ Plus USA CANADA card. I have been playing with the scale dimensions print for locations. It will fit on my dash but not sure i want it their or toss it on the ram mount and bolt to the dash to the right (90% leaning this route). Open to opinions

NOTE: the tach is out at the moment because it up and DIED last weekend so it is in warranty repair at FARIA at the moment. So i am operating off or a resistance reading on my multi meter and mainly not going above my known cruise speed along with my ears for the time being taking it easy.

using the Lowrance Elite5 (NO CHARTS  ) for a reference and the mount with the GO7 taped to the sun cover.

Since you wanted opinions! Personally I like it up on the dash. It would bother me to have it blocking part of the gauge cluster area (I realize it isn't blocking any major functions, but breaking the dash contour up visually would bother me). I have my GPS/fish-finder in about the same location on my boat, i find it's in the right spot where I can view it without turning my head, but it's also not obstructing my view ahead. Food for thought.

By the way I've really enjoyed following your thread and progress. Great work!

well i finally started the LAST and FINAL interior element. THE side shelf face plates. I do not yet own a thickness plainer simply because the one that i want is $,$$$ and i am waiting to be into my new shop first. SO i had to wait on a friends to become available to borrow.

Last night is got the wood to size and the first coat of water proofing sealer applied. i will do 5-6 coats then wrap in vinyl to match the rest of the interior and trim with freshly polished aluminum trim. (polish will happen in the evenings this week i predict.

I have reason to believe NONE of this has ever been replaced on our '93 5.8. :? I trust your research and selection of quality parts; if I used this photo as a shopping list is there any reason any of it wouldn't just bolt right up (plug and play) to a bone stock 5.8 of the same vintage?

Those parts should work just fine for your 5.8. The cap I listed also will work too, it just fits under the shift bracket. The MSD cap I posted has SS terminals and wire retention at the cap for all the wires, and the rotor is much better material and robust design over the streetfire or OEM (it is definitely not the rotor Summit shows in the picture). After upgrading coil, cap and rotor (cap and rotor I replaced had 20 hours on it) the throttle response is much quicker and smoother running on the hose. Lake test is Saturday.

Yes, tell me about it. I already started a "Photobucket Sucks" Topic:
http://www.smwebhead.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=15555

If you decide on a good alternative, please post it there. I haven't decided what to use yet, but it sure will not be photobucket. It was a poorly designed, ad filled website anyway. Greedy basturds.

At the moment I think I will be buying a terabyte WD cloud NAS drive for e the house to use as a server for photos to post on the web. That is the most cost wffective and logical solution at present.
