Good luck! From my experience it takes longer to stretch, staple and trim onto seats than it does to actually stitch the covers.

2.5 hours of pictures and pulling staples. 2" of staples in a solo cup. all of the seats are apart. New structure and sewing will begin tomorrow.

this is a polished aluminum strip and a hard rubber cording will slide in it to attach the rear seat back. As I am not going to have pad on top of the engine hatch but only nonskid. A few hidden snaps will be along the bottom of the backrest.

Lookin great, that boat is going to be better than new, and better than what they are selling now. This is the beauty of re-doing your own boat the way you want it....

I'm eagerly anticipating the next posts...! It's been three weeks and I know you have a life and all, but apparently I don't, because I keep looking to see if there's anything new going on in this thread. Too interesting to turn away from. ☺️

ok progress has been made, sorry for the delay. The bow butt seats are sewn and need to be mounted to the structure and foam. I am working on a captain seat at the moment. Then i will pull the bow back rests. after that is the aft bench seat. my little helper.

Be honest with us, the helper is doing all this work, right? He just don't have time for the picture taking stuff.

The tire cover looks cool, but I wonder if that will collect water and cause some nasty mold and dry rot issues?

Looks like it has a gap and drawstring at the bottom, so it will not collect water.

I've often thought about a tire cover but worry about wasp and bees making a nest.
