Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone has replaced there VDO panel with the replacement panel from FourWinns? And if so how did the mount it into the cowl? The replacement panel doesn't mount the same as the VDO panel, the replacement panel has 2 screw holes at the top, but my cowl has no provisions for screws. As anyone else had this problem? If so I would love to here from you and anyone who has heard of this issue. Thanks for your time.
I about forgot the boat is a 1998 Horizon RS 180.

Wait, what? I didn't think FW's had a replacement panel for the old VDO's? Are you talking newer VDO for your 98' VDO, or like a Faria gauge setup?

That looks great....dare I ask how much? I would love just to get the blank to put my own gauges in .

Looks really good, were you having the standard VDO issues prior to this and did this solve all the problems?

Did I mention it looks really good...

Looks great! It's the identical setup to the way mine is. Fortunately mine was already done when I got my boat though.

Hello all,
I bought the replacement panel from A&A Marine #231-723-8308. I talked to Dave who was very helpful in helping me figure out what size panel (2 sizes) and which color or type of wood pattern (2 patterns) that I had. I think that the total cost that included shipping was around 600.00 which i didn't think was too bad since i called to check on repairing the VDO and it was about 325.00 and who knows how long the repair would last before something else went wrong with it.
It comes with the wire harness and the plug that matches your boat which was really nice, So all you should have to do is mount it to the cowl and plug it in.
If you have anymore question that I can answer just let me know and i will do my best to help. :D
