I'm trying to remove the backing cushion in the bow of my Horizon 180. NOT the side seats, just the corner cushion there behind the anchor hold. I've located the two bolts that run through the hull from the backing of the cushion, but i can't for the life of me get a socket or wrench to grab the locknuts so I can remove the thing.

Any info on the wrench size, and if there are other issues here? With my luck these are epoxied to the hull and i'm wasting my time. Really need to get that cushion reupholstered though. thanks.

I had the cushions done on mine about 10 years back and the way it was held in was a threaded rod screwed into the wood backing and it was secured with a nut behind the fiberglass. About 3/8" size if I recall . Use an inspection mirror to look back there. And soak in PB or Kroil it's probably rusted...
