Pulled the boat out of the shed today and forgot to lay down the bimini. Bent both rods back. It wasn't deployed, just in the upright position so I could get to the motor bay. Any idea if those two rods can be repaired/replaced or if I'll need to redo the whole assembly?

Yup........**it happens.

Check with your dealer to see if Four Winns has or can make replacements, or if they had a supplier make them. Otherwise you might be able to take the parts to a local marine canvas shop. They should be able to make replacements using your bent parts as patterns.

Hang in there.

Here's where it bent on both sides.

Man that's a bummer to start the season but it does happen...
An option is to make new supports on your own. Quick google search shows lots of hardware out there and raw tubing. Usually just set keys to attached if I remember correctly. I don't remember them being welded on mine but could be wrong. You probably only need new tubing and can reuse the current hardware.
Last resort would be as suggested and bring to canvas shop.

Best resource I've found for Bimini stuff (including hard to find hardware) is here:

http://www.sailrite.com/search?keywords=tubing

They sell the tubing you need by the foot (make sure and measure your diameter and take note of whether its SS or aluminum)

I'd fix that myself if I were you-- probably can be done in an evening sometime.

Thanks for the awesome link skidaddytn. I still need to get the boot off and see if it's one big piece that goes all the way around, or two separate pieces. Either way, I'm thinking it has to have a bend in it, and not sure how to deal with that.

I'm almost positive you'll find a joint there and the piece you need to replace is straight... even if it's not... no big deal, you can add your own connector joint since the part you need to replace was a straight section... they sell the connectors too...

The ones I've seen made by Taylor Made usually have a separate piece for the curved section, the straight portions most likely can be replaced separately. Is it alu or stainless steel?
