After being exposed to 20 years of sun and sunscreen lotion, my soft rubber coated rocker switch covers finally turned to goo. I bought new hard plastic replacement covers on Ebay (Great Lakes Skipper) and a removal tool from an Ebay seller in Florida. Very simple to pop the old ones off and snap the new ones on. They look nice and the icons light up in the dark:

here's the old ones:

The black crap got all over my fingers & dash. It cleaned off with alcohol.

It's not necessary to remove the switch from the panel, they can all be swapped in place. One of the switches was loose so I took it out to sandwich a new gasket behind the bezel.

The tool works slick. Slide the forks under the cover with the switch in the "Off" position until it bottoms out, then push the switch to the "On" position and pops right off.

The entire switch can be removed from the dash panel by pushing a blunt blade slightly narrower than the switch, from the backside:

I've been doing the same as needed, but kept the original style covers. Yours look really good!

Here's the supplier for the switch covers. Make sure to get the little tool

Just an update, I found them here;
http://search.gandermountain.com/?D=contura&Nty=1&N=0&Dk=0&Ntt=contura
for a couple bucks a piece and the tool was only $3 and shipping (fast) was only $4.99

replaced all my switches and got the tool for less than $25 delivered.

is that what you are looking for?

Looks great! I bought the tool years ago but have never used it. I guess you have to actually USE the boat in order for anything to wear out...
