Water may be brought into the boat by swimmers coming back on board or by rain. Otherwise the boat should not leak while in the water. The ski locker is normally connected to the bilge area around the engine, and will drain if the boat's bow is higher than the stern. The bilge pump is normally mounted in such a way that it will not remove the bottom 2 or 3 inches of water from the bilge. Check the pump to make sure it operates and check the routing of the hose to make sure it is connected. With the boat completely out of the water, remove the water and dry the bilge. Then put the boat in the water and watch in the bilge to see if there is a leak. Watch in the area of the out-drive transom plate, and just below it on the transom. Also watch the through hull transducer, the engine's cooling system plumbing, and the exhaust system. Hope this helps. Gary
