I need to buy the appropriate drop for my ram 3500. Wondering if anyone can tell me what the ball height of trailer is when level? What size ball?

Pickup is March 14, but we are spending the next two weeks in sunny an warm Palm Springs, so I want to get my ducks in a row, before leaving, to be ready to pickup when we get back.

Have a look here: http://www.fourwinns.net/fastfacts/fastfact/2007/210H-220H_TA_Trailers.pdf

Looks to be 21" towing height for your trailer unless there are some major changes from 2007 to 2008.

You'll need a 2" ball, that's pretty much standard.

I bought a few different sizes at Farm & Fleet and brought them with, then returned the ones I didn't need. My guess though would be at least a 4" drop because that Ram probably sits pretty high.

If you can, I'd wait until all of the mess is cleared off of the streets. Last year we got 6" the day I was supposed to pick up so we just went in for the learning session and tour. The dealer held it until the snow cleared. I know it hard, but it's better than having road salt, sand, and who knows what else on your brand new stuff.

Oh...and bring the warm weather back with you. I'm done with winter!

I would love to weight as long as possible, at this point its going to be a mad dash to clear enough space in the garage. I pushed the del date back as far as I could, but the dealer is trying to get it out.

I cant say I am happy at al about having to track it through the mess thats currently on the streets now.

If you got it at Skipper Buds, from my expeirience (and it was a used boat), they were pretty accomodating in keeping it for an extra week after last April's snow.

Who knows, maybe the snow will even be gone by then. We can only hope
