I think it is a 2000 or 2001. Got a good deal because it had a blown engine. Upgrade to the 5.7L ! Some other minor repairs. The shifter/throttle has "seen better days". Replace with a Volvo or Teleflex ? No water temp on the dash. Is that gauge replaceable ? No speedo but the pickup is broken so I have to fix that first. |

Can't comment on the shifter, but the temp sender is an industry standard. I replaced my oil pressure sender, Amazon for $20 or so. And the fuel sender, again industry standard Amazon find. Like this: https://www.amazon.com/Deverop-Temperat ... ef=sr_1_14 But before you spend money, make sure it is bad. Here's one guide: https://itstillruns.com/test-water-temp ... 49115.html |

Do you have the all in one gauge cluster or the separate gauges? I would test the sending unit first. For the gauge to work it has to get power from the I (ignition) terminal of the ignition switch and a return path (ground). If it’s separate gauge check to see if it’s got power & ground (12v across the terminals) with the ignition on. Teleflex is a good replacement unit, Volvo actually put their sticker on the Teleflex/Seastar CH 1700 models I think. |
