barefoot -- try photobucket -- then there is a link under each picture that you upload (the img link).

Copy/paste that directly into the post and it'll work!

I live in Camarillo in Ventura County. However my boat lives in Lake Havasu AZ. Makes the winter accessorizing a little tricky. It's in an upholstery shop there right now getting the snap in carpet replaced.

Ahh, I noticed the "desert"...used to live in Yucca Valley and go to Havasu myself.

Very nice looking Horizon! Is that a VDO cluster I see?

Ya it's a VDO. The only problems I've had is with the trim indication. When the boats underway it starts to hunt but when your setting still it reads fine. I'm not sure if it's the cluster or the trim sending unit or just a bad connection somewhere. Also the depth sounder is intermittant. If I cycle the the ignition a couple of times it works fine.

I've read through the VDO troubleshooting others have gone through in back posts here. Might be worth a look see. As I recall, a small percentage of folks have had success with installing an additional ground wire. The only 100% fix is to order the replacement Gauge cluster from FW, at almost $600, but then you have pretty much the same cluster used in current production models. From what I can see your boat looks practically mint, so it'd probably be worth it.
