I recently purchased a 1990 Horizon 200 project boat from a marine dealer. Said he took it on trade, ran it a couple weekends, then discovered it had a cracked block. I've tinkered with cars, aircraft, motorcycles and just about anything else with an engine, so I thought this would be an interesting project. I just about had enough spare parts in the shop to build a 5.8L from scratch, and I'm almost finished. Unfortunately, when I purchased the boat, the engine was already removed and dissassembled, so I don't know exactly what was where. Overall, it looks fairly straightforward, but if anyone has photographs of their 5.8L engine/engine compartment in a roughly 1990 model, I would greatly appreciate it. I am planning to install the engine in about a week or two. If I can figure out how to add a photograph, I will. Thanks.
