Hello,
I have a 2004 Horizon 280 with dual Volvo Pentas. My question is regarding the on board fresh water system. It seems that it doesn't keep good constant pressure when drawing from on board water tank through a faucet or rear transom shower. Works find if I hook evternal water hose to rear transom water inlet so I'm confused why the pump doesn't keep pressure otherwise.

First thing to check is the in-line filter fitted to the inlet of the pump.

It has a gauze screen, it should be free of debris; as far as dismantling it, it's a " push and turn" assembly.
