Just entered into the FW owners club....and it's a pleasure to be here!!

I'm going through every nut and bolt (cause it's gotta look new even though it's an '06!) and noticed the cover has snapped off of my transom shower. Any ideas where to find one?

Thanks,

Tim

Does (did) the '06 have a hard cover, or the soft rubber cover?

You can find a bunch of parts on the FW electronics parts list:
http://www.fourwinns.net/partbook/basem ... l=240H-U06
Shower unit is under deck hardware. May be able to ask the dealer, or someone else on this forum if they can see a manufacturer on the unit itself and then find it on the web...

This place seems to have a couple of cheap options; the whole shower though, not just the cover.

http://replacementboatparts.com/transomshowers.aspx

If your's is the round type with a flexible cap that just pushes in, I have the same and mine's turned horrible; the cap made of plasticised PVC that yellows quite badly and the plasticiser leaches out all the time, making is sticky and it attracts dirt like mad. The plastic housing also cracked around the screw holes, but that's probably because the screws were overtightened and were not countersunk ones like they should have been !. The individual parts are actually available from the manufacturer, I enquired a few years ago and they were very helpful, but I just can't remember who they were! The retainer might mysteriously snap next time I'm at the boat and I'll have to regretfully inform the Admiral that we have to change it to one of the sort with a hinged lid!

Graham

edit; I just remembered it was "Scandvic"; they seem to have changed the colour (material ?) of the cap

Welcome abord!
OEM Part # for transome Shower is 035-1375 I think they come with entire assembly with horse and shower head. You should be able to order it from any FW. dealers.
The manufacture of this parts is Plastimo (part # 46303) and I believe it is from France.
You might be able to get it from some marine parts store such as Blue Water Ships Stores.

Great info guys! My boat has the same crappy design which Graham has and I'm contemplating replacing it with the hinged-lid model.
Has anyone done this already? Would be great to know that the size is the same and will drop right in, even if screw pattern is different.....

That's the closest to what mine looks like, except mine's all plastic. No discoloration or problems so far.

I like the look of that one; also cheaper than the replacement OEM one it seems !

My "2004" boat was actually built mid November 2003, so maybe there was a transition from one type to the other from 2003 to 2004.
