I'm confused :? Are you saying there is no output line from the bilge pump overboard thru-hull, i.e. no thru-hull?

So, there is no line from the exit of the pump to a thru-hull.. Sounds like you need to have the dealer remedy the situation via the warranty.

How much water has collected in the boat? Depending, you might have other issues that surface later with things such as the starter if it had gotten wet. You definitely want to have them make note of the water that has been able to collecting the boat because of the issue.

That is a hairball, no doubt. I have only had my bilge on while cleaning. I would document everything and make sure you don't get caught up in some warranty nightmare later, such as - the engine mfr saying the problem was due to the FW hull. I know that when I had engine troubles last year, my dealer dealt with a Volvo Penta rep on the issue - not FW, though they were copied on the incident.

You might have to throw out some threatening language to get satisfaction. Please keep us informed - and good luck, Captain.

Boat was returned to Phil Dill this morning. We met with sales manager, service manager and their lead service tech. They had never seen this on a four winns before. Digital pics were taken to be sent to Four winns. The tech will go through the whole boat and check for damage. Starter has already been replaced once. Hopefully we can get all of the issues resolved and enjoy this boating season.

Jeez. Makes me wish they'd left my bilge fitting off.

Congratulations!
