Hi all just wanted to introduce myself, my wife and I just bought a new Horizon 190 this weekend at the boat show. If only the lake wasn't frozen and it wasnt 0* here today....

Wanted to ask you folks - I have friends who are suffering form the ethanol gas -fiberglass gastake issue that is litteraly ruining the engines. Is it safe to say that this is not and issue with a 2007 boat?

dave

Welcome and Congrats!
The wife and I also just purchased a boat at our local boat show a few months ago. However, we don't have the frozen lake or the 0 like you do, just don't have the boat.

Have though spent the time talking on here, which has been a world of help for a first timer. The other time been out getting all of the goodies to go along with it.

So what did you get specifically on/to the 190?

We got the H190 with the 4.3L caburated model. Full canvas, bimini Top depth guage, upgraded steering wheel trailer w/ brakes and the 2+4 warranty for 21,500. The boat was at the show so we took it with the dark green trim. Its much nicer than the old Sea Ray I had...It going to run..lol. We have all teh ski gear etc. Im looking at fish finders since i love to fish and we have a camp on a lake. Have ot build a new dock for it and ge tthe normal fire extiguisher first aid kit etc stuff. We have 3 kids and lots of otehr family so the 19 seemed perfect. We will see. I will pick it up late april when the snow is gone and ive had a chance to build a new dock. The other reason we bought it is the marina we got it thru has 24 hour(with in 24 hours from when you call) tech response for the boat and if he can't fix it at the camp he will take it back with him and bring it back for nuttin!

Sounds great!

Was the 2+4 part of the deal from the dealership or was Volvo doing that?

Hope for you the weather breaks quicker and you get out of the ice and cold to enjoy the new girl! 8)

Not too sure who paid for the warranty but it was a show special.

Okay, I am trying to get my dealer to throw in the extra 4 with mine. Will see how that goes once the boat comes in.
