The boat we own mentioned above seems to be indicating a 'no start' because of the throttle linkage, or we believe the 'neutral safety switch' is bad. Where is that switch located, and how do we dismantle to replace it??? We have tested the battery, replaced ignition switch, and used volt meter to find we have voltage to the ignition switch and to the solenoid (that was replaced as well). We can only assume the safety switch is disengaging the flow of electricity. Can someone help us find a chart or manual to replace this and what type of switch is it?

Is the engine actually trying to turn over, or nothing at all?

Presumably that model has a dead-man switch on the throttle somewhere? If so, have you tried removing the clip and replacing it (usually attached to a lanyard to attach to the driver).
I know it seems rudimentary, but it has probably happened to many of us at one point or another....
