Just purchased a 2004 FW Horizon 230 and am going through the honey moon stage. Only problem that I'm having with the boat is that I received the FW Bimini Top in pieces. I have have it somewhat assembled on the boat but not sure if it is correct. The FW manual is not very helpful in this area. Does anybody have any pics of there FW bimini stowed for trailoring and also set up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Mike

ditto... apparently the pics in the prior posts have been moved since the images are not appearing... the bimini is somewhat of a pain and we'd also like to see some pictures of it in the 'down posiiton'.

The 04 and 05 230 bimini is definitely a PITA and always a 2-person proposition to raise and lower. However, it does get easier with time - any of my kids can now help me do it, whereas my wife used to have to help - and it does a great job of covering the whole cockpit. When ours is in the trailering position, we wrap the ends of the long supports with a dish towel and a Velcro strap to keep them from gouging the combing pads & gel coat.

Thanks. I have no problem with it open (up and extended out) or in the folded up (raised with boot on) position - but I haven't put it into the down/trailering position and was hoping to see a picture of how that looks.
