#1: Way cool looking boat. On the trailer, idling and WOT!
#2: Most comfortable seats of all the boats I tried. (try the Searay
195/205 sport boats for 2007 and see what I mean)
#3: Seating. We can seat 5 adults on the back bench ( where everyone
wants to sit when it gets rough) and 2 kids can easily lay down to
sleep between the bucket seats after a hard day of fun (get the
doors, they should be a standard feature not an option on any
bowrider).
#4 Storeage. No other boat this size has more and many have less.
#5 Large integrated swim platform, the bolt on ones look dumb IMO.
#6 Handling: 30 mph, drop the bow and crank it over. This much fun
must be illegal in some states.
#7 Rough water ride. You hit rough water at the wrong angle, speed and/
or trim in any planing boat and you will pound, its that simple. Of
course some boats are more forgiving than others and that is where
this boat shines! We came around an island doing 25 - 30 mph and
hit 1 to 1.5 ft wind whipped up chop and started to pound ( not badly
but I like my comfort) I trimmed the drive in and accelerated to 40
mph and the difference was night and day. We skipped across those
little white caps like a hot knife through butter. I had so much fun
I went back to do it again. Later that day we hit some big waves
that were a combination of chop and wakes from yachts, frieghters
and tugs ( coming into Coal Harbour , Vancouver) . This was just a
freak convergeance of waves but the 200 handled it with ease. Even
the wife was unconcerned (if you knew her you would be saying "wow"
right now).
#8 Having a trailer built specifically for your boat makes a noticable
difference. Once I learned exactly how deep to put the trailer,
I would just drive on and the boat centers itself.
#9 Docking speed manuverabilty is better on this boat than any other
boat I have docked ( not counting car toppers). The brother in-laws
195 Glastron is somewhat more challenging to say the least.
#10 Did I mention how cool this boat looks?


P.S. Tugboat wakes + not paying attention = airborne....I know:)

I second this Notion!!!

I love our 200, she handles so well and tubing behind it is amazing. We have the Standard seating, which was more for the dogs to have floor room, than anything.

While I have a smaller boat, it does have a lot more space inside than similar 18 footers we looked at.

Any pics of hitting the tugboat wake???

Worst trailer i've ever owned. Four Winns makes nice boat. but should stick to that. Trailers are dollar saving junk for Four Winns to make a buck. IMO

Anyone that uses a Fulton winch and Accu-lube is saving a buck. Sorry guy but we have the "Kia" of the trailer world.

Not that I have much experience with trailers, but for being 9 years old mine seems to have held up well. Hopefully it has another 9 in it.

that was a nice write up. i was skeptical about the four winns bunk trailer having used rollers all the time but i have no trouble puting the boat on or taking it off actually the last time i put the boat on i had to float it on and it was simple boat sat right where it was supposed to.

Well, knock it all you want, I've been all over my trailer, had the hubs & brakes off, the coupler disassembled, etc., and I've seen no components that I believe could be improved on. I've looked at the new trailers under Cobalts, Crownlines, Sea Rays and others, and I haven't seen anything that I felt was better. None of them are as well designed as they could be, IMO.

exactly and with those trailers there just a generic trailer ment to fit a particular sized boat not a specific brand. so far i'm happy with mine though i've only had it for a short time we'll see how it does in the long run

I hope you guys have better luck then I. I put about 6k miles on my trailer last year (its first year). Seen everything from broken welds, holes rubbed in brake lines and broken winch gears.

I love my 200 also excellent boat. I just picked my up from the dealer yesterday. I had them install a waketower. i will send picks. It looks awesome. I cant wait to ride behind it.
