Now I need to save for a replacement ladder (for comfort)!

Looks great. Just added a bunch of space to your anchorage parties....

Nice, whats your new LOA with the swim platform? Are you gonna get a rubber mat for it?

Thanks! So what is "LOA"? Also the platform has a "rough texture". Do they make a rubber mat you can glue down for this or is there a universal that can be cut?

LOA is length overall. It will be in the 26' range...maybe a few inches over. I pick ours up on Saturday and will post pictures. I like the rougher texture. You can go to http://www.seadek.com and they make the foam pads. They do not have ours as an option but you can get a template kit from them. Would cost about $300+ for the new platform and another $250 or so for the top platform. Nice stuff...but will nost last more than a few years.

DOH! Yes mine will be the same as yours. The 2003 240 is 23' 6" if I recall correctly. So adding 30 inches or so...

I think I will just try it as is before I decide to do any mods. I would love to have the ability to mount a pole that I could put a Magna grill on... Baby steps...

Personally, I wouldn't mess with a rubber mat or anything. It it's like the original equipment platform, you'll find the grit to be satisfactory, scrubs up easy, and seems to resist a lot of mildew and staining.

First thing I noticed was the Waffle House. MMMM....scattered, smothered and covered. I miss me some Waffle House, we don't have them here in Michigan.

There are some threads on here about grill positions including swimstep mounted grills.

Also, have you tried the ladder yet? I can't see yours, but the ladder that came with my FW swim step is one of the more comfortable ladders I've used.

was thinking the same thing. I used to live up in Northern Indiana, now in Lexington KY. Waffle house at every exit, although quite honestly they are extremely dirty and gross...

now, back to the regularly scheduled thread topic. :D
