What is the combined weight of a funship 224 and trailer for towing purposes?

What year?

On the Four Winns website if you click on customer service you can find old brochures and "Fast Facts" that will give you boat and trailer weight.

Got it thanks. It's 400 pounds overweight.

Don't forget to count yourself, passages and any cargo in your vehicle.

One of the reasons we bought a 230/240 instead of a 214/224 was that we could get a bit more length with the same tow limitations. Funships are heavy.

I have a Honda Pilot and it does well with the Horizon. I might be at the limit or beyond if I go with a 224. I think a 214 would work.

If memory serves, I'm pretty sure that the 214 and the 224 are actually the same boat - I believe they started including the length of the swim step and renamed it to a 224....

You can check the specs to verify...

I had my 214 weighed a few years ago. With 1/2 tank of fuel and no water, it weighed 5,950 pounds.

I guess it's too much weight. Had my heart set on it for next year.

The Funship 214/224 is too heavy for a Honda Pilot to safely tow. We own both. And tow with a Chevy Silverado.

Looks like the funship 204 would be able to tow well with the Honda pilot. I'll look into this model.

I just now located the tow ratings sticker on my honda pilot. It was on the drivers side below a panel. The max tow is 5825 lbs. It's 800lbs more than I thought. The Honda is a 2016 AWD. I think I have some wiggle room for a 214.
