I have a 2008 funship with a standard sony marine radio/sirius/cd and sony speakers. The sound is horrible.We are not having any issues with the volume but when it is turned up the rear speakers sound like they are blown and can't handle the sound. I am looking for suggestions to upgrade without spending a ton of money.

I replaced my factory speakers with Polk db651's. I've been very happy with them and think the sound is great considering the price. I paid about $85/pair.

head unit is ok & you need to upgrade the speakers

Crutchfield has the polk's referenced above for 59 a pair
