i'm lining up all my spring projects to get the boat ready for the season, and I'll be sharing pics soon. What about you?

I think I will take the family out tomorrow - probably on Mission Bay for our shakedown cruise. Looking forward to this spring weather, although it has cooled down over the last day or two....Still, it's supposed to be in the mid-70s tomorrow....

Hey Tim - Add a sig letting us know what kind of boat you have, and even better, add a pic! Especially if it is a FS since we are the minority by far on here!! :D

Oh boy am I!

This weekend I am getting her out to start cleaning her up and to sumerize. I bought 4 Polk DB651's that I need to add. I want to hear the difference between the new ones and the stock speakers are and then decide if I need to add an amp. I beleive I will, but will wait to see.

I also want to somehow add two speakers that I can use when on the hook or beached to hear music off the back. I still have not come up with any good ideas yet. Suggestions anyone?

Guess I need to add a pic on my sig also.

Todd

Pity that you're a Sundowner guy, but hey....we'll take any opportunity to get some activity in the FS forum! :D

Is he a total flirt, or what? (no, they aren't his sisters...)

Well, I went out on San Diego Bay on Sunday and had a great time! It was about 80 degrees and the water was swimable, although a bit brisk....

The boat ran great: engine and steering were strong (significant amounts of $$ spent on both over the last year...).
Polk speakers: Awesome upgrade from the stock Sony. Can still hear them get distorted at volume, so will likely look at an amp at some point.
Speedometer still didn't work with the new gauge. Could be the pitot, I guess...

All in all, a fun day.
