I bought four Polk DB 651 speakers and need to install them. Has anyone done this on a 244? I would love some advice on how to get to the stock speakers off.

Also has anyone added an amp in the 244 that can give me some advice?

I did the polks in my 224. It was easy. The hard part was getting the old ones out. I had to get a wrench in the back to hold the nut that is mounted behind. You have to be a bit of a contortionist to get in there. I put the new ones in with self-tapping screws and it was a lot easier. As for the amp, try the speakers first. You may find you don't need the amp.
