Well, I'm waiting for a great welder to relocate the bunks on my trailer to snugly fit my Funship. He should have it done in a week or so. In the mean time, I've got a mechanic going over the engine and stern drive, just to make sure everything is in perfect running order. I've received a bunch of new stuff to install, as well, including a porta potty, Cobra VHF radio, VHF antenna, Sony stereo, 4 Polk db651 speakers, and some new lifejackets. I still have to pick up a 36 qt Igloo marine cooler for the sink unit. I'm salivating over the Lowrance HD-5 GPS/sonar unit, but its darned expensive. We'll see how everything else shakes out before I take that leap, however.
I'm still guessing nearly two weeks before I can get her into the water. However, when I do, she'll be fixed up and ready for what is hopefully a long service life with lots of fun and few problems.
