I have access to a mooring on cape cod, MA. problem is that when the tide goes out the boat will sit on the bottom. It SEEMS that when the outdrive is up it is above the centerline of the hull. Does anyone have experience with this boat sitting on the bottom? Most of the boats I see out there are outboards with the engines tilted all the way back.

I think "yes", but you should be able to tell if you lift it all the way up while on the trailer.

I have and it "Looks" like it would be fine. Being a nervous type I'd prefer to hear someone say... "I do that all the time". There is a marina about 2 miles away but that isn't as much fun as walking out the door and getting in the boat on the bay
