I have a new to me but used 234 and when I turn on the fresh water pump, it pops the hoses off. If I fix one hose, it leaks in another. What can I do to make the joints secure??

DO you have the flexible or the ridged stuff? On ridged piping, the connetors/fittings have a push/pull ring on the front of them. If they are not pushed in to lock the pipe into it, it will come off or leak. If it is a flexible, there shoud be Ss clamps to hold them in place.

The pump ALSO should be about 40 to 45psi, if it is around 60+, that could be the problem.

It's the rigid type. I have tried pushing them together buy maybe not hard enough? Does this system feed the pump out head too?

It depends on the system. All the vac-u-flushes that I have seen uses fresh water. All the hand pump ones uses sea water.

It's fresh water. Will this head be removable since we don't use it. I figure if I take it out than I won't have to winterize it.

You could, I don't understand why you would want too???? You would ALSO bring down the value of the boat.

I did not mean to take it out completely, just thought it would be easier not to use it if it was not in there. Thought it would be easier if I could just disconnect it and put it in the garage. We boat at a small lake and have to go 45 miles for dump station....any more suggestions with my water line on how to make it stay together?

No not really, ether you have the wrong fittings, bad fittings, or the PSI is too high.
