Anyone know what the ACC switch is for on a 1997 205.

Picked my new boat up Friday 7 hour drive from Southampton to Anglesey :(
Took the boat out Saturday & Sunday really made up with it,had a few problem with electrics.
Blower not working
Interior lights not working
Traced faults to corroded fuse carrier, need a new one, everything working now :)

Only thing I don't like is access to the engine, once the engine box cover is removed still looks a nightmare to work on.

ACC is for Accessory. Basically its a empty spot for you to hook up whatever you want, empty space in the fusebox too, also marked ACC.

Hmmm, that I am not sure about. I may have to defer to the more experienced (polite way to say old), guys here. Whats wrong with your fuse panel? Burn up, break in half?

I have a sink inside the cuddy and my ACC switch turns on the fresh water pump. I think every boat had the same panel and number of switches, some switches are un-used if the option was not installed.

I think the fuse panel is a pretty generic marine item. you could probably pick any available that has enough fuse spots for your needs. Mine has a few extra fuses that I used to add a fishfinder and a fan inside the cuddy.

You mean something like this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLUE-SEA-SYSTEM ... ar&vxp=mtr

or if you want to go really cheap (ie: Four Winns factory style) this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/14-Gang-ATO-Fus ... ar&vxp=mtr

I may have to eventually swap out myself as I currently have two dead posts and no more room for another one to fail.

Thanks guys
That's why I love this site :)

The one I have is starting to show signs of corrosion.

Thanks for the links
