Hello.

New to the forum. I am restoring a 1987 195 and JUST noticed that the port side section short piece of the teak stern rail is missing. Does anyone have resources for old parts such as this>

Thanks

Evan

Welcome! Always like to see new Sundowners join up. Unless you can find someone parting out an old one, remanufactured parts for that vintage are hard to come by. If your any good with woodworking (or know someone who is), you can take the starboard side piece and duplicate it.

Oh, and btw, where ya boat at? Maybe somebody here on the forum is close to ya and can help.

Hey, thanks.

Since it's just a smooth piece of teak, I am sure I can make one to match. Now, to find the stainless (or aluminum - not sure) pieces that go in between the wood and the top of the deck.
