Hi everybody, I'm looking to buy a 2002 285 sundowner with twin 5.0 MPI Merc's (260 hp)/ bravo drive. Is this setup plenty of power for this boat if I have 8-10 people on with a full tank of gas? Also any other information on this model would be helpful. There are not to many of these around. Thanks, Derrick |

I own a 285 Sundowner and I love it. I frequently have up to 12 people on it and have no problems, even with a full tank of gas. It is a great day cruiser and will sleep 2 comfortably. It is a very rare boat and I have received many compliments on it. If it is in good shape,you will not regret purchasing it. |
