Morning, 1989 215 sundowner,5.o ford, omc out drive.
re installing the shifter after redoing the interior. shifter wont pull out in neutral to rev engine. any help would be great

Do you have a pic of the shifter?

If your shift or throttle cable was too tight when you reinstalled it, it could cause this problem.
