I bought a flag pole from Boaters World (online) that fits up to 7/8" diameter and it was waaay too small. The only other one I saw in Overton's fits up to 1". I don't think 1/8" larger will do anything for me.

What is the diameter of the rail FW uses, or better yet does anyone know where I can get a flagpole that will fit larger than 1"?

I'm going to measure mine today with a digital caliper. I need to know since I ordered the clamp support for the magma grill. I'm not sure if yours is the same dia. but I'll report back. The rail clamp I bought is for 7/8" - 1.0" dia so I hope it falls in that range!

I used a piece of rubber tubing cut length wise to make a nice tight connection. I never liked the idea of metal on metal

I have not received a response, so I'm thinking of making something with supplies from Home Depot.

FW got back with me, finally. For anyone that needs to know, the rail diameter is 1.5".
