Has anyone moved their fresh water wash and remounted to a more convenient location? Thinking of extending it and mounting the connection in the ski locker.

Thoughts?

Are you talking about the transom shower? Haven't done yet but I thought about adding a hose in the bilge and running it through the access panel under the seats inside driver-side

No, I have a fresh water (hose) tie in to flush the engine after we run her. It's tied into the sea pump but it's a PITA to pull them hatch and flush. Especially when I have guests on the boat, but I flush religiously! I was thinking of running a longer hose and mounting it in the ski locker and was wondering if anyone else has done it?

I don't have one, but I do not see why you could not extend it. My understanding is that it is very important to put the cap back on after flushing, or the pump will just suck air. Therefore any extension should be a good quality hose and clamps, and protected from chaffing. Also the new cap should be leak free.

I would think that an external location would be more convenient, such as a bulkhead water fitting installed above the swim platform, or on the side of the boat which you usually dock on.
