When you are trying to suck some propolene glycol up into the air conditioning system and the raw water inlet for the toilet, it helps if you open the seacocks.......

*shakes head*

Sounds like someone had fun winterizing!!!

I disconected the raw water hose at the head pump, and attached another hose that went to antifreeze, and pump through toilet this way. Blew raw water hose dry, and then closed seacock.

Tried same method on a/c unit, but pump would not pull antifreeze from jug. Think I may have a raw water pump issue. Blew lines clear, will call that good for season.

The raw pump for the ac is not self priming it needs slight water pressure to draw water. You can pump antifreeze through the system, backwards from the thru hull on the side of the boat and it will come out under the boat.

When winterizing the manual head, I pull the hose off the seacock and place the hose in a gallon of the the pink stuff. I then use the head pump to draw it out and fill the hose and pump with antifreeze. Normally I draw about a 1 gallon this way and and then pour an extra gallon right into the bowl and pump it into the waste tank.
