They've added cockpit tours to the cabin tours that have been up for a while. Unfortunately, they're not nearly as good as the VR tours on the Chaparral site (worth checking out) but it does give some added perspective (and really inspires me to keep fake flowers in the cockpit). Until I physically got on board a Chap 350, I thought it would be a serious contender based on the VR tour, so it's definitely an effective marketing tool when done well.

Bill,

I've been on both... My marina is a Chap dealer and stock all the way up to the 350 Sig... So I've seen them all up close and personal and to be fair I wouldn't say the FW is better, if anything I would say they are pretty equal in appointments, finishing, power packages etc. The FW boats have much more grace, even my itty bitty boat looks much better (externally) than thier itty bitty boat. But I doubt one can argue about the cabin space... Just look at how much useable ROOM the 290 has!

It doesn't come cheap either, I just priced out a 290 with twin Gi 300HP FWC's with XDP drives and all the goodies and MSRP is $176K!

Its like compairing Ford/Chevy/Dodge, which one fits your style and liking. All Do the job!

Part of the decision, is which dealer will take care of you best. Just my 2 cents
