This past weekend I suddenly noticed my rear bilge pump coming on about every 2 hours. It would pump for about 5 seconds and then turn off.
We were at a dock and I had the water line connected to the input on the back of the boat.
Raised the hatch and found water slowly leaking at one of the fittings coming from the fresh water connection running along the transom.
Also found that the 2 lines next to it going to the transom shower were loose as well.
Seems that when you raise the hatch the lines flex/twist a little and over time, the fittings had worked their way loose.
Tightened and no more leak.

The point to this post is that you might want to check and tighten the water line fittings going to the transom shower and fresh water input when you have a chance or if your noticing any water in the bilge.
