I have a 1997 278 Vista with the 7.4 Volvo Penta and I need to replace all three belts. Anyone know which ones I need to order and a place from which to order them? I would normally just get automotive belts but the manual says not to. Also, is the VP 7.4 a gm motor? |

Not sure why automotive belts wouldn't work. The 7.4 is a Chevy 454. |

Not sure either. I've used them on another boat with a mercruiser 7.4. |

I've always used auto belts with my sterndrives. I just ask for their best quality belts at the auto parts shop. For a couple dollars extra, they usually have an upgraded quality. |

Okay. I guess I'll just pull the belts and take them down to the autozone to see what they have. |
