I've found it to be a PITA to store cushions on the boat and loved the built in storage for the V-Berth cushions on the 268. We rarely, if ever, used the bow sunpad cushions on both the 268/318 and they stayed at home in a closet. Same place the walk thru cushions for the 240 are.

I, too like the 268's storage of the fill cushions for the v-birth. They work good (imo) and are no issue to store at all

I have a 275V. The v-berth cushion is one unit that folds in half, hinged by material. Under the cushion are two pieces of 3/4 plywood which are supported in the middle by a short version of the table support tube. All pieces are stored in the aft cabin and take up a lot of space. The larger piece of plywood is also quite heavy and bulky to install. I bought the boat new in 2015 and wish I had set up the v-berth before I did. Might of had second thoughts as me and the wife use the boat to stay over quite a bit. I wound up making a "U" shaped holder, out of three pieces of 4' x 3" of 3/4" facia board, for the two pieces of plywood and placed to the right of the entrance to the rear compartment where they stand straight up next to the wall. Other than this-love the boat.

Is that V berth as roomy as it looks? I havent seen a 275 in person yet but it looks much bigger than a 268 from the pics.

In answer to Bliss36. Yes the v-berth is roomy. The boat has a 9'2" beam which shows up here. Also the cabin, head and v-bert areas have a lot of head room. The boat also has a lot of storage.

I also like the v-birth cushions integrating into the backrest on the 258. It keeps it clean.
BUT if you do not like it then I would suggest making the fillers in sections just large enough where you can store under the dinette seating.
