In those years what color where the outdrives? My outdrives are black is that correct? |

I think all Volvo Penta outdrives are that standard grey color (just based off of the handful of VP outdrives I've seen). Here is a picture of a 2000 298 Vista from Boattrader.com, looks grey. Thanks that’s what I thought, somebody Painted these black. I pulled them off for the season sanding down and painting. I do different color grays that they used? |

Mine were grey (or silver) but I painted them black since I wet slip year around and don't care how pretty they look (not to mention how cheap flat black spray paint is compared to OEM paint).
