In our 248, the headliner that goes from the entrance to just past the head keeps coming down. I keep pushing it against the velcro tabs, but it keeps falling down. Anyone else have this problem and if so, how did you fix it?

Hi Woggy! Its a known problem. I solved it with screws. Got the fancy little plastic covers for the screws. Can't even tell it is there. Couldn't be happier.

FYI, this is a problem with almost ALL 248's.. Mine was no exception.. I took it back to the dealer when I had the issue and FW told him to use the little screws and white caps as well..

Mine look like this:http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/producte/10001/-1/10001/299186?&cid=chanintel&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=299186#:

I've got a droopy headliner in my aft cabin. I presume its the same basically as the 248. I see the link to the screw caps, but what kind of screw is used?

You would use a small 1/4 inch stainless screw. Will depend on the screw cap you use.

We had to screw our headliner back up a couple years ago, used the same caps from west marine as posted above. Worked great.
