We are planning a 3 night stay (on our 318 Vista) in the near future. Has anyone slept on the couch/bed for any length of time? If so, did you have to put anything on it for comfort? (i.e. inflatable mattress, memory foam, etc.) When we put all the filler cushions on it, it seems like it's a little lumpy. We sure don't want our guests to be uncomfortable! Thanks alot and have a very Merry Christmas. |

The aft berth: Plenty of room. Biggest problem is the two filler cushions moving around (falling out). The kids don't mind, but I'd get a single piece foam pad for adult guests. The couch: No place for big people to sleep (IMO). Let us know how the trip goes with four adults. |

The mid cabin (aft) berth in our 2006 348 is actually just slightly larger than a double bed. I picked up an eggcrate foam pad (visco memory type) from the Target. Folks that have slept there found it quite comfortable. The sofa could sleep one adult, or *maybe* two kids. Ours is comfortable enough to sleep on. You could get a single bed foam pad and cut it to fit if you wanted a little extra comfort. But how many folks are you expecting to sleep aboard? Sharing a sleeping space is tricky. Some folks sleep too lightly to tolerate the onboard experience. With it being such close quarters you're going to wake everyone up when anyone gets up to use the head, especially someone stuck sleeping on the sofa. |
