If you are still looking for the latch (the one I posted earlier) I just picked up a few locally. Let me know if you want one.

Sorry to be so dense but is this Latch the same as original or a latch to replace it. I assume it goes on the inside where does it screw in Sadly I have never seen the latch work as was broken when I bought the Boat

Thanks Shuman  :P

A friend gets new F250 crew cabs for about $150 a day if I'm not mistaken.

Your "friend" won't be needing to rent a truck anymore.........

Enterprise? Way to expensive. I use U-Haul they are next to my office.

U-haul's pickup is rated for 5500lb towing (good for most boats).
$19.95 + $0.59/mi.

If you need to tow something big? Lowes (Walmart's hardware store 8) ) truck rental. It's a diesel flatbed F250.
$69/day

Comparing a U-Haul half ton to an Enterprise 3/4 Ton diesel crew cab is not the same. Boat in question is 10k lbs. Enterprise near me just started renting Ram 2500 Cummins...

fyi on the 268 vista which started this thread the weight is close to 9000lbs wet.

5500LBS towing Limit vehicle may end up being wagged by the boat I/m opting for a pro delivery as have moorage for the season [ two person launch]

Happy boating and remember when docking think of it like pool and call your bank shots

Thanks Shuman
